International Human Resources Manager
Melody
The great thing about A-B is that it provides a world of opportunities...literally!
I handle Human Resources Services for approximately 13,000 customers in the Asia-Pacific region.
You could say I act as an HR liaison between the rapidly growing business in China and A-B\'s corporate
headquarters. One thing I like a lot about my job is that I get to work with people in various cultures,
at all levels of the organization. My bilingual skills and understanding of Chinese culture and HR practices
have helped me out a lot. You must be flexible and passionate about your work, and prepare your agenda with
the 12-hour time difference in mind. But it\'s such a good feeling to be valued by your customers, no matter
how far away they may be.

Senior Auditor, Internal Audit Services
Brian
It\'s exciting to work for a company that makes excellent products and treats its employees well.
That\'s what gives me the energy to do my best within A-B, and the enthusiasm to talk it up outside the company.
I make sure my friends know the efforts A-B goes through to provide them with the best beer in the world! As a
Senior Auditor, I get to experience all aspects of the company, whether it\'s the brewery, distributor, theme park
or rice milling facility. My group helps protect A-B from financial and operations risks. What we do saves the
company money and helps it run efficiently. We need to provide good customer service and perform quality audits
under some pretty strict timelines. There is pressure to manage your time well, and it helps to believe in the
company and what you\'re doing.

Group Manager, Quality Assurance
Shelley
I don\'t ever have an ordinary day, but that\'s what I love about my job!
A-B is all about quality, and it\'s my job to ensure its products are up to the company\'s strict standards.
I oversee Quality Assurance lab analysts to make sure their work is done accurately and on time. I also
monitor the production process and work closely with Operations to address potential quality issues.
There\'s never a dull moment! We are always improving our products and processes, and work on new products
to bring to the marketplace. It is a fast-paced and challenging job. I often need to make decisions, bring
in the right people and resolve problems at the spur of the moment. It may sound like a cliché, but teamwork
really is the key, because we\'re all in this together.

Brewing Group Manager, Fermenting Department
Linda
I like the fact that A-B communicates with employees about ways to improve the company.
The process of brewing great beer, from the wort stage to fermentation to aging, needs to run like clockwork.
When it\'s time to change shifts, we must make sure the transition goes smoothly. As the manager of the brewers on
my shift, I ensure that each brand is being produced with consistent care and quality. We rely on good planning for
a problem-free brewing process from shift to shift. We trust each other to pay attention to details and report any
system issues. Needless to say, good communication is a top priority throughout the company. At the end of the day,
it\'s rewarding to find a bottle of beer that you helped bring to market!

Electrician, Operations
Donald
If you\'re willing to learn, A-B will help you become a better person.
My job is to maintain the electrical equipment on the can and bottle lines in the plant. I perform preventative
maintenance every day and troubleshoot equipment problems. I get a real kick out of getting them up and running again.
There are lots of people here with different duties, but we all have the same goal: It\'s to get a quality product out
the door on time and in the hands of consumers. In a job like mine, it\'s important to stay up to date on different types
of equipment and get in all the training you can. A-B has great programs to help us keep learning and growing, no matter
which department we are in.

Sales Representative, Wholesaler Operation Division
Andrew
It\'s a competitive industry, so find a position that best suits your skills and abilities.
When you work for a company like A-B, every day is different. There\'s always a challenge to face. If you\'re right for the
job and well prepared, you can accomplish a lot, especially when you have such a quality company to back you up. I spend
my workday meeting with retailers, telling them about the benefits of carrying our products. A-B is very relationship
oriented, so it helps to know how to talk to a diverse range of personalities and develop their trust. It\'s important to
stay up to speed - not just on our products and marketing efforts, but with the retail industry as a whole. And, of course,
we have to keep an eye on our competitors. This job takes someone who can look at the big picture while paying attention to
details.
