Global Management Trainee Program

The Global Management Trainee Program is a 10-month program providing a comprehensive systemic view of the Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI). The program has been developed to allow GMT employees to gain insight into every aspect of the business (with a specific focus on the Brewery Operations and Sales/Marketing divisions), learn from the ground up, gain exposure to senior management, and develop leadership skills and true business experience.

The 10-month program includes a country induction (focus on business operations within the United States), zone induction (conducted jointly with the Canadian trainees) and a global induction (all trainees from across the world to focus on global strategy of ABI). The 10-month training also includes two 10-week field training segments in brewery and region sales office locations as well a 4-month project assignment.

At the end of the 10-month training, the trainees are assigned to an entry-level management position in either Brewery Operations or Sales/Marketing. From the first position on, the trainees are free to build their own careers to include areas and/or experiences that interest them. Throughout the 10-month training and beyond, trainees have extensive interaction with the Zone President, senior vice presidents, and various senior-level directors.
