Sales Management Trainee
We attract the brightest, most driven graduates and nurture talent by giving relevant experiences right from the start. Our goal is to find people who are ready to take on a challenging Field Sales position early on in their careers and set the pace for the organization as a whole. We achieve this by putting the trainees through an intensive 17-week training period before their first entry-level management role.
The Training
Begins July 2013
- 17-week training period
- 7-week WOD (company-owned wholesaler) training
- 2-week field Region Sales training (in one of our 8 region offices nationwide)
- Exposure to Trade Marketing, National Retail Sales
- Job-shadowing key roles
- First position is an entry-level field Sales management position at the conclusion of training
- Designed as a development role for new or recent graduates
- Trainees will be able to gain insight into every aspect of the Sales Department and learn from the ground-up; hands-on experience
- Opportunities to develop leadership skills and true business experience
- Gain exposure to senior leaders in the organization
Requirements
- B.S. in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain/Logistics or a related degree
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented approach
- Strong desire to learn and develop
- Driven to deliver results against stretch targets
- Self-starter, driven, with a high attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven leadership ability
- Must be mobile within North America as placement after training period may be located in any of our 8 regions
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
